Riot Fest
Saturday was a day I looked forward to for a long time! Ever since I heard that 3 of my all time favorite bands were going to be playing all at the same show -Riot Fest- the countdown began. Those 3 were Less Than Jake, Pennywise, and Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Energetic and lively punk & ska music. It took me back to my musical roots so to speak. It was the music that I first really grew a great admiration for, and one that I still listen to until this day. Less Than Jake played the entire 'Losing Streak' album, in order, and that's one that our group of guys used to play at parties (when we were of legal age of course) and would scream the lyrics as loud as can be, dancing around, and burning off some testosterone. The Bosstones were pretty good too, was disappointed with Pennywise - had never seen them in concert before, but I guess I never really missed out on much.
